I was nervous backcombing would wreck my hair, but this tool glides through without snagging, and the height actually holds all day even in humidity. The grip is comfortable too, so my arm doesn't cramp halfway through styling.

The teeth are spaced just right—I got serious lift at the crown without any of the tugging I'm used to from other combs. My fine hair actually held the height through a whole humid afternoon.
